Comparison
RentalFlow vs Supercycle
Supercycle and RentalFlow are both Shopify rental apps, and they are built for different stores. Supercycle covers rental, resale, subscription and membership for brands. RentalFlow covers one job: rentals you deliver and pick up yourself. I build RentalFlow, and I checked every Supercycle detail here against its Shopify App Store listing and website on October 12, 2026, and checked the listing again on October 19, 2026. Bottom line
Choose Supercycle if you are a brand that rents, resells or runs subscriptions, you ship items out and get them back by post, and you need each item tracked by serial number with ID checks and deposits. Choose RentalFlow if you drop rentals off and collect them locally and want a flat $39 a month with no cut of your revenue.
Which is better, RentalFlow or Supercycle?
It depends on what you rent out and how it gets to the customer. Pick RentalFlow if you drop rentals off and collect them yourself, and want a flat $39 a month with no cut of your revenue. Pick Supercycle if you are a brand that also runs resale, subscriptions or memberships, and you need each item tracked by serial number, with ID checks and deposits. It costs $100 a month plus usage charges, including 1% of circular revenue.

What each one costs at $5,000 a month
Say your store takes $5,000 in rentals in a month across 40 orders, and every customer signs a rental agreement.
Supercycle Super: $100 for the plan, plus 1% of $5,000 ($50), plus 40 signatures at $0.75 ($30). That is $180 for the month. Add $1.50 for each customer whose ID you check.
RentalFlow: $39. The price is the same at $500 a month or $50,000.
The gap pays for different things. Supercycle's $180 covers signed agreements, deposits and item-level tracking, which RentalFlow does not have. If you do not need those, you would be paying for them anyway.
Where RentalFlow wins
Built for the van. The booking form asks for a drop-off address, a pickup address, a delivery date and a pickup date. The dashboard shows today's deliveries and pickups with unit counts. Supercycle's pages do not list delivery scheduling.
Service area check. RentalFlow checks the customer's US ZIP or Canadian postal code against the area you deliver to. Supercycle does not list this.
Calendar feed for drivers. RentalFlow sends deliveries and pickups to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook through a private feed you can share.
Flat price. $39 a month or $390 a year, with no per-rental fees. Supercycle starts at $100 a month and takes 1% of circular revenue on top.
Where Supercycle wins
More than rentals. Supercycle lists rental, subscription, membership and resale in one app. A clothing brand can rent a jacket for a weekend, lease it by the month, and sell it used afterward. RentalFlow only does rentals.
Every item tracked. Its serialized inventory follows each item's location and condition. RentalFlow counts units per product, so it knows 12 of 40 tents are out and does not know which 12.
Deposits, ID checks and signed agreements. Supercycle lists ID checks, deposits, pre-authorised cards and e-signatures. That matters for high-value items like cameras or bikes. RentalFlow has none of these. Customers pay the Shopify product price.
Charges after the order. Supercycle lists charging for rental extensions and damages. RentalFlow lets you flag a return as damaged, lost or late, and you bill the customer yourself.
Reviews. Supercycle's listing shows 4.8 stars from 14 reviews and a launch date of September 15, 2023.
Who should choose which?
Choose RentalFlow if you rent moving boxes, party gear or equipment in one city, you deliver and collect with your own vehicle, and you want a fixed monthly cost.
Choose Supercycle if you are a brand adding rental, resale or subscription to an existing store, you ship items, or you need deposits, ID checks and item-level tracking.
