Common questions
Yes. Every new store gets 14 days free with every feature. You approve the plan in Shopify when you install, and you are not charged until the trial ends.
Uninstall RentalFlow from your Shopify admin. That ends the plan. There is no contract and no cancellation fee, and Shopify handles the end of your billing period.
Your session data is deleted right away. Booking and settings data is kept for 30 days so you can reinstall without losing anything. After that it is deleted for good.
It works with any Online Store 2.0 theme, which includes every current Shopify theme. Older vintage themes cannot use app blocks, so the booking form cannot be added to them.
Most often the RentalFlow block has not been added to the product template your product uses, or the block is hidden in the theme editor. Open the theme editor, check you are on the right product template, add the RentalFlow block, and click Save. If it is there and still not showing, check that the form is turned on in Settings, then Form Config. Some themes need the block placed inside the main product section.
When a customer clicks Add to cart in the RentalFlow form, the app checks that enough items are free on every day of their dates. If not, they see a not available message and can pick other dates. Your theme's own Add to cart and Buy it now buttons skip this check, so you can hide them on rental products in Settings, then Form Config.
Open the order on the Orders page in the app. You can cancel the booking there, which frees up the items for other customers, or change the dates. Customers cannot change dates themselves. Refunds are done in Shopify as usual.
Use a Shared Stock Pool. Set each package to continue selling when out of stock in Shopify, then in RentalFlow go to Settings, then Inventory, and add your packages to one pool. Enter how many items you own in total and how many each package uses. A 50-bin booking then takes 50 from the pool.
Yes. In Settings, then Inventory, set Turnaround Days. Items stay unavailable for that many days after each pickup date.
Go to Settings, then Calendar Sync, and create your calendar feed. Copy the link, then use Subscribe to calendar or Add calendar by URL in your calendar app. Bookings show up and refresh on their own.
More on billing is on the pricing page. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.
